Top seven gifts for a personal trainer

When it comes to buying that personal trainer in your life the most perfect gift it can be difficult, buying anyone the right present is difficult in my book.  As this is a common question that I have been posed over the years I have put together this list to help anyone out there that is looking to buy a present for their personal trainer!

Hope it helps and if you have any ideas of things that I should consider adding let me know in the comments below!

Gym Boss Timer Review

Gym boss timer – this awesome little gadget allows you to set up intervals on this handy little timer.  The product has been around for years and has a good few advantages over the mobile phone apps that many PT’s have been using.  Some of the perks of this as a gift is it is usable with a wide range of clients, and not too expensive. I did  a full review of this product on my blog a while back, see my gum boss timer review.

Anything from Examine.com – this is an awesome website for the fitness professional, it is the home of the latest nutritional research.  The site has a number of products available including a supplement reference guide and/or the Examine Research Digest (a handy monthly run down of the latest nutritional research).  I did a review of Examine.com here, have a look.

Fat gripz – thee awesome little things allow for the turning of a normal bar into a wider diameter bar.  This can help to improve muscle activation and helps to improve the grip.  These have been around for a number of years and have good reviews on Amazon.  They are are at a reasonable price and a great addition to any personal trainers kit bag.

Nutribullet – these fantastic blenders allow for a range of healthy cooking opportunties.  They can be used to make soups, sources and the super powerful blade comes into its own to make smoothies.  The combined cup makes it a handy way to make a quick smoothie on the way to the gym or next client.  The pack comes with a good range of add ons, such as additional cups, blades and lids.

Promixx – these are the protein shakers of the new age, at first when I saw them I thought that the need for a motorised stirrer within a shaker was a little bit…. well lazy.  However once I had tried it I found out why it was a good idea.  The motor did help to mix the shake much more smoothly.  A great little gym gadget!

Trigger Therapy – These awesome products are a must for anyone who trains regularly, they have a great range of tools such as foam rollers that can be used in SMR and trigger point therapy!

Six pack bag – These bags are a must for any fitness conscious person who is out of the house for large parts of the day.  The bag allows for storage of all those tupperware pots for meals and all the other various supplements and things like water bottles.  Even better the whole thing is insulated, keeping those meals hot/cold as you need!
